Motherboard chip solution

My motherboard's one chip is destroyed.The main complaint is there nothing diplaying on the monitor.Then I was contacted a hardware expert but he said to bought a new motherboard. What should i do???

he said right u will have to buy new motherboard because these chips are not available locally they come with motherboards.
