Question Motherboard Comparison

Apart from the aesthetics, the higher overclocking support for ram, more USB ports, the lack of a DP, the extra buttons on the back and the extra M.2 slot, not to mention the higher quality componentry for the VRM when looking at the Carbon(when compared to the Pro) there's nothing much different to them. To summarize, the Carbon is a higher pedigree board.

I don't know what you'll be pairing with that board, what you'll be taxing your build with and what sort of a budget you have, to also add the sort of boards you have access to, the case you're working with. So, in a nutshell I can't recommend one over the other without greater context.

If you wanted my 2 cents, I'd avoid anything that has a Pro moniker on it from MSI's camp/portfolio.
