I have a Packard Bell I media s2185 pre built pc. I want to take the motherboard out from the pc and put it in a new case. However I'm not sure whether the motherboard would fit the new pc case which has standard atx and micro atx fittings?

Hey,

Take the motherboard out and turn the computer on it's side (the one you're putting the mobo into), hold it over where you are going to put it in and see if it fit!

I'm guessing you don't have the 'new' case yet?

It should fit anyway though, what is the case?

Hi guys!
I am planning on moving everything to the new case, upgrading the ram to 8gb and possibly the app as well. I was going to keep the existing gfx card and put it in the new case so I am going to have to use the integrated graphics till then

That's a really cruddy system. I'd make sure to include the replacement of motherboard and CPU in my planning, to make sure nothing is wasted. The GTX620 is pretty weak too.

I'm fairly sure it is a standard mATX board, but I don't know about the arrangement of the I/O shield.

Hi!
I was originally going to build a budget pc from scratch, however my dad said it would save me money on buying a new os and also having to buy another photoshop that is why the motherboard must stay to keep the os
