[SOLVED] Motherboard Compatibility

Hi, so I recently bought this Pegatron IPMSB-H61 Motherboard bundled with an i3- 2120 Processor. I want to play games such as CSGO (which is a CPU dependent game) but I'm getting low fps in my i3 processor. So, I want to upgrade my Processor to an i7-4770K, but I was quite confused when I tried to search if the chip is compatible with my mobo. Do you guys have any idea if it will run it? I saw in this one forum that it can but some sites don't really say so.

Would really appreciate your help.

Not compatible. The 2000 series is socket 1155 and the 4000 series is socket 1150.

3770k would be the fastest socket 1155 cpu. However even that may not work on your OEM board. HP only lists the i3 2100s as the fastest supported so others cpus might not be compatible due to bios restrictions.
