Hi

i recently bought a ( Asus B150-PLUS D3 motherboard )
with a ( Intel core i3-7100 LGA1151 )
and a ( gigabyte gtx 1050 oc 2gb )

a friend of mine put in the parts and tried to start it up but nothing happend.
the pc turned on but it had no connection to the monitor and the monitor went back to sleep mode.
we checked if every cable was correctly placed in and we were pretty sure it was.

i thought it might be the bios type on the motherboard wich doesnt work for the cpu/gpu i dont know.
i use ddr3 ram 1600mhz with 1.5v.
i am really bad with pcs but we were almost certain that everything fits well together.
i have no clue what to do and am sad that its not working.
if any of you guys have any tips or anything that could be of use to make my pc work i highly appreciate.

note: i already checked my power supply and it worked fine and the cables aswell.

Solution

i just called the site where i bought it and am gonna trade it for the one i linked in the last message they said everything is the same but ofc ddr3 to ddr4 upgrade and it has the right bios 250 now. aswell as my cooler the cables are the same as the one i currently have so there should be no issue i hope 😀
