Guys,
My new motherboard is Gigabyte B150m D3H. The disc that came with it has drivers and quiet few softwares. Now it is best to install it or to download latest drivers from Gigabyte site itself ? Is there any difference ?

Usually because they're outdated. Newer ones are typically available from the web site. If you do not have internet access on your new build, then go ahead and install the LAN driver from the disc, but then get everything else from the web site.

Your link refers to the Utility section of downloads. You don't need to install any of them if you don't know what they are for.

You wrote, "OS is Windows 10 64bit". If you already installed it then check the Device Manager to see if you are missing any software for your hardware. Many drivers are already included in the Windows 10 library.

Wolfshadw - Okay mate. Now under SATA there are two drivers of different versions listed. Should i install both or recent one is enough ? Also today im installing an MSI Gaming X rx480 GPU. So there is no need to install Intel graphics driver because i will download AMD drivers. Right ?

SR-71 Blackbird - Okay mate. Since im installing rx480 i wont be installing on-board Intel graphics driver. Now under display adapter in Device manager it is shown 'Microsoft basic display adapter'. Should i uninstall it before installing AMD drivers or just leave it and fix the GPU then install AMD drivers ?

You should only install the latest SATA driver version. As for the Intel graphic drivers, it's not going to hurt anything to go ahead and install them. It will not affect your RX480 graphic driver installation or it's performance. Should the RX480 fail, however, your on-board graphics would be up to date.

Wolfshadw - But i read some people saying the on board graphics drivers and GPU drivers will conflict each other ? Im confused ! Also under Display adapter in Device manager it is shown 'Microsoft basic display adapter'. Should i uninstall it before installing AMD drivers or just leave it and fix the GPU,switch on PC then install AMD drivers and im good to go?

Wolfshadw - Okay mate then i should install latest onboard Intel graphics driver, finish process, then switch off PC. Then i should fix the new GPU physically, switch on PC, then install latest AMD driver and im good to go. Right ?
