Motherboard Fans. How to turn them off?

Hi, I have GA-Z87X OC Force motherboard and the fan that is built into the motherboard is causing lots of noise. I want to turn it off as I have no access to the cable to turn them off. Fan is located right next to CPU socket. I can see fan BIOS options like:
Reset Case Open Status
Case Open
CPU tenperature warning
System temperature warning
CPU OPT Fan fail warning
1st to 5th system fan fail warnings
CPU Fan speed control
CPU OPT Fan speed control
1st System fan speed control
2nd System fan speed control

Yet I can't find the option to stop the fans.

I doubt that the BIOS or Speedfan will help you. From the manual the headers for the fan are 2 pin which I believes that they have 2 modes, on, or off. I know you say that you are unable to unplug them, but this may well be your only option.

Are you sure that these are causing the noise? Sure something isn't dangling into them?

I could put my hand barely in there in a rubber glove. I tried touching it and slightly pushing it to see if that helps, I think it kind of got quieter for a very short peroid of time but then it started to make this noise again.

It's not VERY loud... But for example, if I play Phantom Pain on 4K on max settings, you can hear it and when I exit the game the loud noise kind of stays for long? I say 4K because the fans start to rotate the most and maybe the heat does something to it.

It gets loud because thats a taxing game and the chipset is getting hot. That fan spins to cool the chipset. Theres a watercooling plug there as well to allow for you to add it to your water cooling loop. Because of that there is less of a heatsink but its replaced by the fan.

If you disable this fan you may well cause performance issues.

If I unplug it, I'll test overclocks to see if something's affected. If something's wrong (overheating etc), I will plug it back in and will have to turn the music up like someone said in this thread.
