Hi guys,

Struggling to find a new motherboard. Recently acquired another hd7950 and want to run it crossfire with mine but need a new mobo as mine only has one pci slot. My cpu is i5 5670K .

Had come across this (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00K8KLW3G/?tag=pcp0f-21) and was wondering:
a) is it compatible/fine to do crossfire with my cards
b) is it the best option (looking for a mobo under £100 as money is tight)

Cheers for any help,
Will

i assume your current used GPU is the same HD7950
a. Yes, the said motherboard supports CrossFire
b. Perhaps, i'm trying to suggest AsRock Z97 eXtereme4 but seems the price is somewhat rocketing or out of stock, maybe the MSI one is best for under $100

That would work.

What is your current motherboard and are you sure your psu s sufficient for crossfire?

ebay purchase for the msi 797 fell through and struggling to find others that are not from china as i want to avoid the long postage and risk of damage. Can anyone else think of any other similar cards that are still commonly about as everyone i try seems to not be sold anywhere
