Motherboard for Cooler Master Elite 130?

This case can hold up to Mini ITX and Mini DTX

But, from my research, some micro ATX can fit nicely inside this case too such as ECS H81H3-M4

Can anyone suggest micro ATX motherboard that can fit precisely inside the case?

Why not just get a miniITX board? Instead of hoping someone has actually tried different microATX boards in this chassis.

Generally speaking, mATX won't fit as they usually conform roughly to the 244*244mm dimensions.

The ECS should fit, but it's unlikely to be useful due to it's layout, unless you have a very niche usage which would make it potentially helpful. You can't for example run (most) graphics cards on that board in that case. It's also likely to block some of the storage mounting locations as it's deeper than an ITX board.

DTX boards have almost entirely fallen out of fashion due to dual slot graphics cards making the second lot semi-redundant.

You'd be better off letting us know what you are trying to build specifically, so someone can advise whether or not it's doable at this form factor or whether or not you need to step up to a slightly larger case.

Well, my budget is roughly $300

I want to make a small PC used to stream Netflix, office task, playing some games like Dota 1 or 2

It's not necessarily to be playable at high setting, low setting is good for me

The main thing is small and tidy, that's all

After some extensive searching, I stumbled upon 2 choices which are CM E130 or Jonsbo v3+

Any suggestion about the specs using that 2 chasis?

What I meant by your needs is what you need to plug into it. If you are planning on using a dual slot graphics card, then the extra slot is going to be blocked in most instances and using the ECS you wouldn't be able to use a dual slot graphics card at all.

I'm not really sure why you want a non-ITX board.

The Elite 130 is a pretty safe bet. It's cooling is pretty poor but if you aren't putting anything high end in it then it's perfectly sufficient, as well as being pretty flexible in terms of PSU, graphics card and optical drive provision. Not to mention, it's pretty cheap.

Oh and if you are struggling for your budget, it's worth keeping in mind that ITX builds are generally a little bit more expensive than a mATX/ATX alternative.

Despite the Jonsbo claiming it supports mATX, that's not strictly true as it only has two expansion slots, same as most ITX cases.

If you are getting a Pentium in the G3420 range, I'd suggest looking at the G3258 as it's not a lot more expensive, slightly faster and is quite unique in that it is overclockable. You'd need a Z-series motherboard to actually exploit this feature, which is out of your price range, but if you came to upgrade your CPU somewhere down the line, I'd be willing to bet the 3258 will hold it's value a lot better than it's brethren and you might be able to recoup a lot of what you spent.

I'd be very wary of any "no name" PSUs. AcBel are an OEM supplier for a number of brands, but only on very low quality. These days it's super easy to make a PSU conform to 80Plus Bronze standards, and while it's not a measure of the quality of components, any PSU that does not have this is likely pretty poorly made, not to mention the fact that despite being named a "400" it can only supply 300W at the very most.

Which expansion slots are you talking about?

G3258 is not available here
The best I can get so far is G3420 🙁

Nevermind about the G3258, the 3420 is pretty solid and near to identical in out of the box performance.

Expansion slots are the covered sections at the rear of a case, which line up with the slots on a motherboard which you can plug various items into.
A dual slot graphics card (like the one you picked) overhangs the slot below it, meaning the motherboard you want to use will not work, but most ITX boards will - basically anything on this list


In case you need clarity -
Most "ITX" cases are sold with two expansion slots to cover a dual slot graphics card overhanging the motherboard edge. ITX motherboards can only ever accommodate one expansion slot on the board, usually a PCIe x16. Example pic.
Most "mATX" cases are sold with four expansion slots to accommodate the full width of what is a standard mATX board (244mm). Some are sold with five to allow for extra space. Example pic
Most "ATX" cases are sold with seven expansion slots to accommodate an ATX board. Some are sold with more than this, again to allow for extra space. Example pic
