Motherboard for my Custom Build

Hey guys,

I'm looking to build my own PC and these are my components so far:

CPU: Ryzen 5 1600
GPU: 1060 6GB
RAM: 16GB
HDD: 2TB
SSD: 250GB
OS: W10
PSU: 450W

So the only thing I'm missing out is the motherboard and the case. What motherboards would you suggest as I'm clueless..

I would suggest a B350 motherboard, depends on your budget. There are some for $65-$135 that have different features and designs that you may like.

Did you already purchase the power supply? What model is that one you've chosen?

My budget is £1000, thank you for the suggestion! I'll look into it in a minute.

That's your budget for the entire system? I meant what's your budget for the motherboard. Anyway this is a solid board. But if you need something cheaper let me know.

Oh right, I have no idea about the budget for the motherboard itself. But as long as the system is under a grand it's fine, thanks 🙂

Also, what's the difference between ATX and mATX? And does that mean I should get a case matching my MB?

mATX is smaller than ATX. Some cases are only big enough for mATX cases. So yes it could effect case choice.
