MOtherboard Heatsink

Well when I was putting in my mobo into the case I was holding it by the heatsink. Is it a bad thing if the heatsink is a little loose? I felt like the heat sink detached it's self a little. Any help would be nice.

Like push it down properly? I saw inside it has these springs to keep it pressing downtowards the motherboard.

Yes. Dont damage your mobo in process. there should be a click sound.

If not, get he plastic things that fits the heatsink to mobo replaced.

Well it didn't detach completely I think the sound I heard was just a clicking from the springs.
