Have I done something wrong or is it broken. I got a Asus M5A78L-M with a AMD 8350k and every time It boots up their's a problem where it either will not display to the monitor and will show"no signal" and the restart won't work so I have to turn off the computer by the power supply. I fix this by taking out the CMOS battery and clearing it, unplugging the CPU 4 pin connector and by changing the ram to another slot, it will finally work. After a day or so I'll go to boot the computer again and it will need the ram changing to another slot for it to work and it will not work till I have moved the ram and removed and put back in the cmos battery. I have reflashed the bios and it still hasn't fixed anything.

Solution
When next time boot up the PC, go into the BIOS, disable two or more cores, save the setting, then you maybe able to use the PC. Because your MB may have problem to handle the fx8350 anymore ( I know the cpu is not the 8350K), the fx 8 series has 125W TDP, the MB has few power phase, overtime it can't power the fx 8350, so either disable few cores, or buy the good 970 chipset MB, but I don't recommend to buy any AM3+ MB, except you will get very very good deal.
