Hey there, I'm having an isssue with my m.2 slots. I am trying to use both my motherboard will only detect one of them. The drives i'm trying to use as as follows: Slot 0 (top): Samsung NVME Evo 970 1TB Slot 1 (bottom): ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro NVME 1TB M.2 SSD. I can only use one at the same time. I'm fairly certain this is either a limitiation of the board or an issue in the BIOS since I have tried 2 other m.2 drives: like the intel 660p 1TB or the kingston a4000 series 500GB. I've tried disabling or enabling CSM support. Im really at a loss here and have no idea what to do to get both NVME m.2 drives working at the same time.

thank you in advance.

Motherboard model: Z390 GAMING X(rev.1.0)

RTX 2080S Strix OC

@rgd1101 Okay so i've tried both slots and they work fine with just 1 SSD. Funny enough when I took them both out there were warm to the touch so the slot is defenitely doing something.

I think I read where some boards if you have an NVME in the first slot you have to run a M2 SATA in the second slot.
Do you have any thing connected to SATA ports 4 and 5? It says a m2 in the second slot disables SATA 4&5
