So I just finished a new build with an ASRock B450m Pro4 motherboard and am going to install Windows, but it doesn't see the hard drive at all. This is the hard drive I have. If it's plugged into the first M.2 slot, it doesn't show up on the list of drives at all when trying to install windows. If it's plugged into the second M.2 slot, it only shows up on the list as "Drive 0 Unallocated Space 0 MB". It doesn't show up in the BIOS in either case. I have already updated the BIOS as well.

Solution
That is sata M.2 drive.
Upper M.2 slot (closest to cpu) doesn't support sata m.2 drives.
You can use only lower M.2 slot for your M.2 sata drive.
In BIOS it would show as sata drive.
Note - M2_2 and SATA3_3 share lanes. If either one of them is in use, the other one will be disabled.

Post some screenshots.
