Question Motherboard NVMe shroud = NVMe heatsink?

I'm specifically wanting to know about the Gigabyte B650E Aorus Master, but I'd like to get a feel for all the newer high-end boards (both Intel and AMD).

Does the shroud for the NVMe slots actually contact the NVMe SSD as a heatsink (with some kind of TIM)? Do most boards, that have this type of NVMe shroud, have it contacting the drive for thermal dissipation?

M.2 heatsinks usually have thermal pads under them.
Gigabyte B650E Aorus Master should be no exception.
