Ok guys I can generally solve my computer issues with help from my friends and the internet but I'm looking for some more oppinons. The problem is my computer will randomly fall asleep while in use and refuse to wake up. My monitor will give me a message saying entering sleep mode and my only option is to kill the power on the PSU seeing as the power on the front of the tower is unresponsive. This began after getting a new Radeon 5670 and putting it in. I have triple checked all of the power settings and all my drivers. All the settings are turned to never turn display off/go to sleep and all drivers are updated. Now I found a temporary fix over winter break but now that school is starting I want to try and get it fixed. My temporary fix was increasing the voltage in the bios on the PCIE slot up to 75W from the default 25W. The catch is it only fixes it while I'm playing skyrim. I got the game over break and found a fix to play skyrim and was like cool but if I close skyrim and start to do other things it will go to sleep. My computer will run fine with the integrated graphics card but I havn't tried playing skyrim on it. Based on that my guess is either its a PSU issue or the mobo is having issues distributing the power. I am considering replacing the PSU and then the mobo to see if either fixes it but just looking for thoughts.
