MotherboARD PSU and cpu upgrade

hi guys i have a dell optiplex gx 620, with stock core 2 duo cpu , 4gb ddr3 ram, amd 5450 and 300w psu , pls suggest me a motherboard and PSU upgrade , i would like a core series cpu , and the motherboard to support it , + the PSU please suggest

What budget? What use?

i7 5960X Is a great 8-core monster for LGA2011v3, which would be appropriate for high-end encoding/editing work, but will set you back over $1000. i3 6100 is a nice ~$100 CPU choice which will be good for moderate-expectation gaming and great for light desktop use.
