Motherboard RAM/DIMM Tabs - Replaceable? TIME SENSITIVE

Hey everyone. As some background, I've been building PC's for about 15 years now, but have never experienced this problem (call me lucky), so I need some help.

I'm building an entry rig for a friend who needs it by the 25th of this month when he starts University. The parts arrived and I started assembling it. I noticed that the DIMM slots are all missing the locking-tabs on one side, so the RAM cannot seat properly or lock in. I definitely don't want to short the RAM or Motherboard. There's only one RAM module to install. The Motherboard is an ASRock A320M Pro4, if that matters.

My question is: is it possible to move some of the unused tabs so that two of the slots can be functional now, and order some replacement tabs and install them later? I don't mind doing the work myself if it's possible; I just don't know if it is, and googling is yielding little. Otherwise, I need to RMA this ASAP so the replacement arrives quickly. If it is possible, any advice/instructions from yourself or a link to elsewhere would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time, everyone.

Truly? The supplied book implied there should be a tab on either side, but that picture is hard to argue. I will try this now and get back to you. Thanks for the speedy response, everyone.

This is the new normal.
In part to clear graphics cards that might conflict.
The install process is no different.
Open up the side with the latch.
Place the ram stick properly so that the notch is oriented properly.
Push down evenly; the latch will flip up and lock all in place.

Thank you very much. It seems to have seated properly. I definitely wouldn't have believed this to be the case. Just for future removal reference: would I simply pull that side out after the 'locked' side, or do I have to do something else?

Again, thanks a lot. That saved me a lot of time and a headache. I appreciate it.

I didn't believe it either. XD But it seems to have seated. Thanks for the quick reply.

I had tried pushing it evenly at first, and when the latch locked it was loose and wiggled, which had me worried. Doing the method daswilhelm suggested worked. Perhaps I wasn't even that first time, though. Either way, thanks for the fast reply.

For removal, you unlock the one tab thats holding it in, and pull evenly on both sides and it should pop out.

Simple enough, great. Thanks again friend!
