Hello there,

I just need you guys opnion on whether I need to replace my motherboard or maybe there's a solution to fix this issue. So for some reason, my PC will only post on one slot of RAM (A1). It will not boot successfully with two RAM or more. I've tried switching from Auto, DOCP to DOCP Standard, changing speed and resetting CMOS battery. On one ram, the MB light goes orange, then red, then white, finally green, going into windows desktop. On two slot of RAM, the pc just keeping restarting with no POST screen showing. 4 RAM, it's just orange light with black screen.

PC Specs
MB: STRIX B350-F ATX
CPU: Ryzen 5 1600
GPU: 1050 Ti
RAM: DDR4-3000 32 gb (Currently 8gb)
PSU: Corsair TXM Gold 650 W 80+

Thanks

  1. Test ALL your RAM sticks, one by one, in slot 1. Are they all working? One might be faulty.
  2. What if you plug 2 sticks into slots 1 and 3 or 2 and 4?

Hi there,

Yes I tested all of the RAM in slot 1, they're all working properly.
RAM in slot 1 and 3 is orange light and no post. RAM in slot 2 and 4 causes the PC to restart in a loop.
