I was looking at this motherboard,http://www.e-shop.gr/asus-m5a78l-m-lx3-p-PER.522983

as you see it says it has a input for SATA 3Gb/s,is it SATA 3 or SATA 2 ? I am going to buy a wd 7200rpm sata 3 hard drive, will i see a big difference between sata 2 and sata 3??? As for the cpu its amd fx 6300.

Solution
On magnetic drives (standard hard drives) the difference between SATA 2 (3 GBPS) and SATA 3 (6 GBPS) is negligible. You won't notice it in gaming or normal use. You might see small differences in heavy benchmarking tests, but that's about it. Don't stress about it!
