So, i made a huge bummer when i installed my mobo 2 months ago

I installed my standoffs hard tightened them by hand.

sooo, i installed my motherboard and began tightening the screws.. but my standoffs began spinning around, and here i am, i cannot get my motherboard off to redo it and it's only in there with about 4 screws in each corner. I figured the smartest thing would be to redo it.

anyone that got any nifty ideas to solve this problem?

Well, i tried that the thing is they are too loose and i cannot seem to ehm, get them off.

the problem is the scews i allready screwed into them, i cant get them out because of the standoffs being too loose.

maybe im not trying hard enough but you have to be oh so gentle with a motherboard =)

Can you remove the back panel of the case and see the tips of the standoffs? If so, can take a needle or a brad type nail and push on the bottom of the tip of the standoff screw and then unscrew both the standoff and screw at the same time. Once mobo is out grip the standoff with a pair of needle nose pliers and unscrew the screw from the standoff

Can you get a pliers or wrench under the MOBO to grab the standoffs? If so, grab the standoffs and unscrew the MOBO screws from above.
