That MoBo is two generations old.

Go back to your MoBo link..... click on the specs tab and you should see

But at CAS 11 (4.58 ns), you are very close in speed to 2133 CAS 10 (4.69) and 1866 CAS 9 (4.82) which should be cheaper. If you are gonna spring for 2400, I'd suggest CAS 10. I'd normally recommend the Mushkins (they have the best timings at 2400 ... 10-12-12-28) but price just jumped up to $189.

No. The memory may not work at all.
The processors compatible with this board support up to DDR3-1600 (Ivy Bridge) or DDR3-1333 (Sandy Bridge).
This motherboard supports overclocking the memory up to DDR3-1866 (you would select an XMP profile in the BIOS to do this).
Ram speeds faster than DDR3-1866 are not supported.

Why would you pay extra for fast RAM that ya can't use at rated speed ?

You could look up the JEDEC profiles for that RAM .... packaging only lists XMP profile. You can see other profiles if ya search for reviews.

1600 (2 x 800) looks like the next standard profile.

It might work, but probably not. The motherboard manufacturer does not support it.
If you buy DDR3-1866 RAM it should default to DDR3-1600 or DDR3-1333 and you can select an XMP profile in the BIOS to run at DDR3-1866.

533 x 2 = 1066
609 x 2 = 1218
761 x 2 = 1522
800 x 2 = 1600

The Best Answer to your question is you cannot.. try to be specific to whats your mother board required memory.. and nothing else. you just put your money at risk. Ok?

Just wondering if it will work with that mobo cause i'm going to upgrade my mobo in the future so was just curious if it would work with my current mobo.

Well, if you want to upgrade your mobo you have to purchase a higher memory DDR3 if it is supported..
but take note the capacity of your current memory and the memory you will purchase must be the same volts and specs.ok?
