I tried every component and it turns out to be the motherboard. It will turn on for an hour max then keeps restarting, and if i left it for a day or so it will turn on for a 10 min, last time i left it for a week and it turned on for an hour. I took it to repair but they said it was fine, i had to test it infront of them to convince them it is not working and i took it back home after this. What do you think is the problem and how can i fix it?
System specs:
CPU: i7 4790
Motherboard: gigabyte h81m-s2pt
RAM: dd3 16 giga kingstone
OS: Windows 10

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

= = = =

If the system is booting and functional up to the time of the restart(s) look in Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer.

Either one or both tools may be capturing some related error code, warning, or even an informational event just before or at the time of the restarts.

One thought is file corruption:

Run the built in Windows troubleshooters. The troubleshooters may find and fix something.

Failing that try "dism" and "sfc /scannow".

It's not software problem. Motherboard keeps restarting reaptidly without trying to boot, I can't even enter the bios unless i try again in a few days. I am thinking it maybe some component in the motherboard that needs to discharge and causing the problem!

Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer capture all sorts of errors, etc..

Indeed, it may not be a software problem. However, look for software related errors/entries just as a matter of elimination.

And yes, per @faalin include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used)? History of heavy use for gaming or video editing?

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?
