Motherboard usb Inputs Not Working

Hello yesterday my usb just stoped working randomly during the day. I have tried to reinstall the drivers and power cycle and nothing has worked. I got them to work for about 30 min by removing the cmos battery, but now that wont even work. They also will not show up in the bios boot menu which i made sure to have them enabled. Is my problem the motherboard or a software problem?

system is an alienware m14x r1

Case and rear ports? usb2.0 and 3.0? With different devices - usb stick, mouse, keyboard?

Control Panel, Device manager show them as working properly and driver up to date?

They only give power as I can still charge my phone. Nothing that requires drivers work. In my device manager only a pci device has an error. The usb 3.0 driver does not even show in the manager and when i try and open it it says usb 3.0 controler not found.

Re-install drivers from your disk that came with the mobo.

I already did that but from the dell site.

Then it looks like you need to replace your mobo.

eh its had a good run of 4 years looks like its time to get a desktop

buy PCI to USB it cost rs300 to rs 600
