I am just trying to throw something together to control a standalone external cooling rig. I will need four water pumps. Anyone know of a motherboard that has four water pump headers on it?

I know I can go with splitters, but I wanted to try to control all 4 independently first.

What kind of connectors do these pumps have? Could you use a standard fan connector on the motherboard? How many total connectors would you need both fans and pumps together. Most motherboards today have 1 AIO pump connector plus 5 fan connectors. Do you need more than 6 in total?

Why would you need four water pump headers? Any PWM fan header can be used to control any device that requires a PWM signal, whether a CPU cooler fan, case fan, AIO pump or open loop pump, same as an AIO pump header. Unless of course you also need the fan headers for fans, in which case, you're probably out of luck.

What hardware are you going to be running with this? CPU? What chipset are you intending to use?

I am going to need 9 fans as well, but they will all be on one radiator, so they can be controlled with one fan header. I didn't realize that the fan PWM headers could be used for water pumps. That might end up working.

I don't know what hardware yet, that will depend on the motherboard I decide to use, as long as a 650W ATX PSU will work.
