So basically i decided to uppgrade my computer by switching out the old motherboard and cpu with the new Gigabyte LGA1151 Z390 AORUS ULTRA and Intel Core i7 9700K. i also went ahead and installed a cpu liquid cooler Kraken x52. So when i finally tried to turn it on, nothing happened. At first i thought it had to be the power switch pin that i misplaced (ive done it before). But nope, still wouldnt turn on. it does seem the motherboard gets some power becouse it lights up faintly at different spots for half a second, and sometimes not at all. only consistent noise is the PSU making clicking noises when i plug the power cable onto it. Is the PSU too old and inefficient to transfer power to the new components? Did i brick my motherboard ? I have no idea at this point and i've spent hours upon hours to figure it out. So please help my wretched soul 🤢
