Motherboard (Z97-A) doesn't detect my R9 290x

Hi, i'd like to know if my graphic card is correctly connected to the motherboard, i've tried to change the primary graphic card from Automatic to PCIe
But it always changes to Automatic

Yes, i think it's correctly instaled in the slot
But i don't know why the motherboard skip it everytime and changes to the OnBoard graphics

The graphics card's fans and lights are working too so i don't know why i have this problem

Are you plenty sure when you exit from BIOS you put Save and change settings? Do you have output from the card?

Yes i'm, everything is ok.
But for a moment the motherboard detected the graphic card, but, it was a black screen, Windows wasn't starting
