Hello, can i use a 3pin case power switch if my motherboard has a 2 pin connector? i just want to upgrade the motherboard and cpu in my dell optiplex 7010sff

Then no.
The 3 wires are probably power sw, power LED, and ground BUT you will need to break them out and figure out which is which with 100% certainty; unless someone makes a front panel adapter for your exact PC case.
