Question Mount lian li uni fan sl 120 to lian li O11 dynamic

Im building my first pc and got stuck on how to mount the sl120 to the top and bottom of case.
Am i missing something or are my fans defected since it doesn t have the screw thread?

fans: lian li uni fan sl 120
case: lian li O11 Dynamic

Basically the holes are smooth they don t have the screw thread.
They do come with screws in the box but i don t have anything to screw them into.

Then it is most likely a manufacturing defect. Your next step would be to get a replacement from the shop/dealer you bought it from if it's still under warranty.

Although I read a few Reddit threads regarding this issue and it seems to be a normal thing for these fans. Go ahead and try using the screws that came with the fans and also try to use a thick Philipps screwdriver without applying too much torque. If it still doesn't sit flush to the case then ask for a replacement.
