[SOLVED] Mouse and keyboard not waking PC from sleep on new Windows 11 desktop build ?

I have already gone into Device Manager and set Power Management for both to allow them to wake up the system from sleep, but no effect. Also disabled Hibernation. CPU case power light does go into flashing mode, so I know it really is sleeping.

Very weird, never had this happen before with my previous Windows 10 build or any of my laptops.

Is there some BIOS adjustment I need to make? Mobo is an MSI Z790 with Intel i7 12 gen CPU.

Go into BIOS and see if the option to resume via USB device(keyboard/mouse) exists and if it's enabled in BIOS.

There should be a bios setting to allow a USB device to wake the pc.

Did you go through every device in the HID section and USB controllers sections of the Device Manager list? There's way more junk in there than just the mouse and keyboard sections.

Thanks everyone, I found the setting in BIOS and enabled it.

Strange that it would be off by default, though.
