Hi,

Being new to the PC gaming scene, I'm looking for advice on buying a mouse and keyboard.

Have done research, but it all is still foreign to me. Cherry Switches for example, is that worth it?

I'd consider myself a gaming enthusiast and just want something that performs well without over spending. I would prefer wireless but not at the expense of noticeable performance degradation. My budget is £150 ($185) for the both.

TIA.

I would say cherry switches are the worth it. Wireless keyboards have input delay so I wouldn't recommend.
For a mouse I would recommend the Glorious Model O- (negative) as it has fast clicks and it is the lightest mouse i believe, even lighter than the final mouse which most streamers use. Its around $50 too, way cheaper than the finalmouse. https://www.pcgamingrace.com/products/glorious-model-o-minus-matte-black
For keyboards, if you like a small keyboard than the Logitech G Pro https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Mechanical-Keyboard-Portable-Detachable/dp/B06XMRQ68B which is right now around $108.
If you want a full size then I would go for the Logitech G513 which is the same thing but full sized...

Both keyboards have switches that are Romer G- Tactile which are Logitech's own switches which I believe are the fastest on the market.

TYVM. Definitely like the look of that mouse, almost perfect reviews too, it's just a shame its sold out over here in the UK. Also not the only one to recommend the logitech keyboards to me so I think I know what I'm going for now. Will test in shop then make a decision from there. Thanks again.
