My mouse and keyboard gets "unplugged" and stops working several times a day, the lights on them turnes off and the USB unplug sound sounds. Between 5-40 seconds after they start working again. It started happening 1 month ago and I have not made any hardware changes, it seemes to get worse. Sometimes it´s only the mouse getting unplugged.
It happens randomly regardless of what I am doing on my computer.
Both use USB ports and I have tried pluggin them in in all my USB slots and used different keyboards and mouses, this has no effect.
Mouse: Steelseries Rival
keyboard: Razer Blackwidow 2014
Both have the latest drivers installed from their respective programs.
Computer Specs(Built it myself 3 years ago but it has been upgraded with a soundcard, SSD and a graphics card.):
CPU: Intel i5 2500k overclocked to 4,4Ghz
GPU: Asus GTX 680 DirectCU II Top
SSD: Samsung SSD PRO 850-Series 512GB
HDD: WD Caviar Black 1TB
RAM: Corsair 8GB CL9 1600Mhz VENGEANCE LP
Motherboard: ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3
Sound Card: Asus DX Xonar
Power Supply: Corsair TX750M 80+ Bronze Modular
CPU Cooler: Zalman CNPS7X LED
Windows 7 64bit Home Premium installed on the SSD
Any ideas on what the problem could be and how to fix it?
I´m sorry if my wording is a bit off, English is not my first language.
