Hi all, my first request here on Tom's Hardware.

Strange problem I'm running into. My Logitech optical mouse has suddenly started causing Firefox to stall, either loading pages or running a slider. For example, if I click on a link and leave the mouse there, the new page stalls and won't load, or takes an VERY long time. If I nudge the mouse a little bit, the new page loads immediately. Same with sliders. A couple slides may go through, but then the slider stalls, and if I move the mouse, the slider starts up again.

I'm running Firefox 25.0 on Windows XP SP3. This problem does not happen in Chrome. Mouse seems to operate normally in all other applications.

Thanks for any help.

Recently I have complained to firefox , as I was unable to block properly an advert popup. Afterwards, the tabs downunder the screen , able to block a site, before actually opening it, disappeared completely. Was this the answer to my complaint ?. I suspect so. I highly suspect that most , if not all problems with the so called non-profit Firefox is nothing but invisible spyware !

Well, if that were the case, I would think the problem would have been evident a long time before this.
