Hey guys, I bought a DELL S2716DG and i noticed that when the cursor is scrolling in speed, there is this after image following it. Kind of like a ghost that will follow until the cursor stops then merge with it. I think it has something to do with refresh rate if I'm not mistaken. Is there a way to fix this?

Search in windows start menu for 'Mouse settings'

You should get a small window appear under the 'Pointer Options' you should see an option called 'Pointer Trails' you can turn it off or turn it right down.

Hope that solves your issue.

I understand what you guys mean, but that's not it! That option is turned off by default anyway. What I mean is, at my 1080p monitor which is currently installed with the new one, there is no <ghosting> of the mouse, nor on my 1366x768 one. This new monitor is a 1440p 144hz g-sync monitor, and does it only on iy. It isn't that noticable like a trail, but more of like a refresh rate lag, that will leave an afterimage. Kind of hard to really explain and you must really really look at the cursor to see that happening as the ghosting is very very light but is still there!
