Hi guys, so I just started noticing this weird thing.

I have had a Glorious Model O2 mouse for over a year now, but recently, for the past few weeks, whenever I turn off my computer, it flashes a red light just one time.
And to point out that it only does when i switch off the power plug from the socket not when the PC shuts down but is still getting powered from the socket.

So basically what happens is that when i switch off the wall socket and just as the motherboard light goes off the mouse flash comes.

So just wanted to make sure that it's not something wrong with my mouse or if there is some way to make it stop that'd be highly appreciated as well.

Firmware is updated as well of the mouse

Any response is highly appreciated it

Thank you

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

Does the mouse behave the same way beyond your PC, on a donor laptop and/or PC?

When you unplug or otherwise disconnect main power from PSU, some electricity remains in capacitors in PSU and everywhere else until it's drained. A wireless mouse goes to power saving mode when it loses connection so that may be a signal.

Hi, Sorry I will make sure to add the specs in the future from now on.

CPU: Intel Core I7 13700k
CPU Cooler: Asus TUF Gaming LC 240
Motherboard: Prime B760 Wifi
Ram: Corsair 48GB
SSD: Samsung 860 Evo
GPU: RTX 3080 10gb Gigabyte
PSU: Cooler Master 850W MWE Gold
OS: Windows 10
Monitor: MSI Optix 165hz 1440p

The age of PSU is almost 3 years now
Also don't know the age of Bios but I will check it
Haven't tried the mouse on another laptop or PC yet.

This could be a case but just thinking that it never happened before so why now all of a sudden also my mouse is wired not the wireless variant of it
