Question mouse hover problem/bug

I have a weird problem with my mouse (logitech anywhere 2).

If I mouse-over a scroll bar (for instance youtube volume slider) or a text file it auto-scolls automatically (just by moving the pointer over it) - if I go over volume slider is slides to the left, if I hover over a text file (or internet page bar) it goes up.... Also can't drag down pages anymore (it remains stuck).

I tried reinstalling drivers, but problem persists....

sounds like an issue with the button(s) constantly activated.
if you can disassemble it by popping the buttons off you could possibly reseat them and correct the issue.
but this could invalidate any warranty.

if it's new, refund
if it's not new but still under warranty, RMA.

I thought about the buttons... But if it was the buttons it would highlight text, and keep highlighting text... It's nothing physical at least. Something software related... (I cant test it out on another system tho, but Ipm pretty sure its a bug)

Everything works fine, except when I hover over a scroll bar....Also when I try to drag corner of window it has some issues..

I must add... sometimes when I click right mouse button, menu pops up and when i move mouse it disappears most of the time.

I cant test it out on another system tho

why not?
you've got to know someone; friend, family member, co-worker, etc that has a laptop, desktop, tablet with USB input...

Actually Im a bit of loner/no job... But good point.. I probably see someone soon (as in wednesday)....

Ive read some other posts online/similar problem (but solving it involves power off 30 secs/change batteries.).. This one has no batteries...

Used to have a laptap but not anymore. Still im 99% certain its a bug, not hardware related.

reinstall the OS or revert back to an earlier Restore Point before the issue arose.
if it continues then it is hardware based.

Auto scroll is typically a feature of the scroll wheel being pushed.
Right clicking to bring up a menu is normal operation.

There are a number of programs out and I can't recall but Windows might have one built in, where you can see what is activating on your mouse while pressing (or not) buttons or wheel, etc.

Ok.. Under Apps there's a Your Phone (Microsoft Corporation) App..... Which I cannot uninstall.... Not sure if thats supposed to be there. Probably is. (Ill look into Restore Point a bit later, never done that before).

Mouse Test works fine.

For the record. not solved yet. if anyone knows of this issue....
