I'm having issues trying to use the TAILS system on my PC. I downloaded the ISO and installed it to a USB flash drive using Rufus with no problems. When I try to run the intermediary version to create my final version I have no mouse pointer. The mouse and keyboard are USB wireless Logitech MK550 combo and the keyboard and mouse do work, there's just no pointer to know what you're doing.
My motherboard and CPU:
MSI Z270 Gaming M7
Intel Core i7 7700k

Thanks in advance for any help/ direction you can point me to.

Does it work with any other Linux distro?
Why or why not?

What happens when you try a different mouse...a wired USB one?

I'm simply looking for some guidance. I have seen others with the same issue but everything that they posted either doesn't apply to my situation or involved UEFI settings I don't see.

I'll have to dig up a wired mouse and give it a try, but like I said, the keyboard and mouse work, I simply have no pointer. I can right click the mouse and the popup shows me where it is on the screen. I've also not used Linux before, I'm running Windows 10 Pro as my usual OS.

As asked...does that particular mouse work with any other Linux distro, on your system?

If it does not work automagically, Logitech and the Unifying receiver and USB 3 is not trivial to get working.

Look here for some Ubuntu (not tails directly) related Logitech solutions

Not trying to be funny, but the earlier response was pretty much on point.
Tails is not a beginners distro.

This is like a guy with a brand new learners permit, and wondering how to get the Ferrari into first gear.
