Howdy great peeps,

I've gotten my new Lioncast LM25 mouse (my old one was the Razer Star Wars TOR mouse),
but it keeps disconnecting at pure random, I believe it's a defective mouse.

I did a full driver sweep, I used the Windows driver, the driver that came with it,
tried 7 different USB ports - and it disconnects at random in the BIOS as well.

Sometimes immediately after connecting it disconnects again as well.
And the time it takes to re-connect can vary quite a bit.

I think it's safe to assume the mouse is defective?

I am using Windows 7, by the way.

Start by downloading, installing, and reconfiguring the Lioncast LM24 drivers via the manufacturer's website - not Microsoft. Doublecheck that you 1) have the correct driver and 2) the most up-to-date version. (The drivers with the mouse may well be out of date.)

Try the Lioncast mouse on another known working computer.

Try another known working mouse on your computer.

Determine if the problem follows the mouse or stays with your computer.

If the disconnect problem follows the mouse then it is indeed likely to be defective.

It worked on the laptop & the 2nd PC, so I thought there must be a conflict somewhere.
So I had reset the BIOS and re-installed Windows, and then it STILL had the same problem..

Then I clicked on "Reset All Profiles" in the driver program,
that has fixed it. It's very weird, I wonder why it works this way?

Thanks for your help!
