Mouse lag in MW3 (Steam version)

I have a CM Xornet mouse and I have been using it for more than a year without problems. One week ago I noticed that as soon as I start MW3 Multiplayer the cursor is lagged (in main menu and in-game) and also FPS drops to 0 when making sudden mouse movements. I have tried using another mouse and it works without problems, but the mouse is crap and I want to use the Xornet. Also, I have not been changing mouse firmware or stuff like that. I was thinking that the BIOS update could have done this, but other than that I don't know. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! BTW: Keyboard works fine - I also tried using an xbox controller (with Xpadder) and it works normal.

Did you find a solution for this? My MW3 suddenly started behaving like this also. The cursor is laggy in the menu, and the smoke does not float smooth either. Not to mention actually playing the game...

I did solve the problem. I tried every solution on the net, but none worked. I tried using different mice (1 wired and 1 wireless) the wireless mouse worked. I don't know how. All I know is that the wired mice had very high resolution sensors and dpi over 2500. The wireless mouse was (Microsoft) low spec, but it worked.
Anyway, what I did is reinstall windows 7. I do not know what was causing the problem, it could have been a software application or a problem with my drivers for the USB ports. Reinstalling windows will definitely solve the problem. 😀

I had this same problem but with call of duty 4 , my fps would keep dropping randomly whenever i moved the mouse only but FPS remained constant when i moved with WASD on a 4th generation Intel CPU (i5-4670K)
it seemed that my BIOS version was outdated and was "version f5" and when i looked up for my motherboard BIOS updates I found that it had f9 and f10 versions already and they had in their notes (now supports 4th generation intel Processors) and the latest one ( imrpoves "K" version intel processors )
so i updated my BIOS version through a program called @BIOS i downloaded from the gigabyte website and i flashed the new BIOS through the windows , only had to restart for it to apply and never had fps lags when i moved the mouse again
