Hi, whenever I turn off my pc and my mouse (Corsair Sabre) moves or if I click it accidentally the led turns on even when the pc is off! I had enough so I decided to come here, please help this gets really annoying at night.
Unplug your mouse or turn off the charging ports in the BIOS. USB is 5V rail and most newer PSUs and motherboards utilize this by adding a 5B STANDBY rail which is always on. Keeping the USB ports powder for convenience of charging when off.
I checked my motherboard but I couldn't find anything, only thing I found was legacy usb support but that didn't make a difference. (I have a gigabyte motherboard).
I found this looking into the mouse
Why would you not want to see all the flashing lights?!?!?! jk
Here is a workaround you can do so the lights shutoff when you lock your screen:
1) Create a new profile in CUE
2) Select your devices, and set all the lighting to black - no light basically
3) Save the profile to device memory
4) Select and resume your usual profiles
Turns out, if its not recieving communication from the software, or if it recieves power, it will go into demo mode
