Mouse Pointer Vanish

My mouse pointer in W8.1 Vanishes completely, and my mouse still shows power as the Red lights are lit up across it, as well as the tracker shows up.
After unplugging and plugging it back in the mouse pops up, as well as it seems as if it was "installing" the drivers all over again.
This has happened twice now,

Once while i was watching a movie off of amazon, and went to make food and had left my PC untouched for around 20 minutes.
The next again after I had cut it on, I had not yet logged in to my profile and went and made food. I come back and log in as the keyboard works perfectly fine yet the mouse pointer was again gone.

Help would be appreciated.

First you need to eliminate the mouse itself as being possibly faulty, so try a different mouse before you post a problem like that, then tell us you've tried a different mouse if the problem continues.
