Question Mouse right-click button is either very jittery or doesn't work at all ?

I have a ROG Chakram Core mouse. The right-click button becomes either very jittery or it doesn't work at all. Clicking on any other button also triggers the right click button. Sometimes the problem fixes itself and it works perfectly fine but then it comes back later. This mouse is brand new, only having bought it 5 days ago and the problem had started occurring a couple days back.

Here's what I've tried doing:

• tried updating drivers
• tried restarting my computer
• tried the cmd scannow
• tried a spare mouse and it worked normally
• tried using other USB ports
• tried the mouse on another computer to no avail
• tried swapping the replaceable switches

I have a sneaking suspicion that it might have something to do with the wires/cables but I don't have enough knowledge in troubleshooting these things. Any help would be appreciated.

RMA the mouse. Nothing else to do with it.

Btw, that's why there is warranty with PC hardware, so that when they develop a fault within a reasonable amount of time, you can get it fixed/replaced by manufacturer.
