Question Mouse sensitivity depends on moving speed. Cursor moves even slower as you move mouse. Demonic mouse curse!

This is LONG story, but Ill try to be shortest as possible.
I had SIX mice, and they all failed with same symptoms within 2 years(2 bloody, 2 logitech, 1 steelseries etc)

Each of them worked for some time, from few months till 5 minutes, and then they started to slack

Problem: Mouse speed isnt constant. Faster you move mouse, faster it moves, but its not that big difference on most of sensitivity curve, main problem is that when you move mouse slower that some X critical speed, it starts to moves even slower drastically! It feels like dragging mouse mouse through mud, and worst problem is that is not even constant! Sometimes mouse will work bad, sometimes terrible! I even got experimental results from 1.15 % less sens till 2.1 in really worst moments.... Any precise mouse movement is simply impossible!

Ofc, you can guess that is real torture on your brain, even single player games and regular browsing are pain in ***, not even talking about BRs that I enjoy and where one pixel makes difference between life and death.

I tried EVERYTHING! From changing mousepads, sensitivity, disabling my led backlight, changing keyboard, power outlet, and even changing whole mobo and power supply that was damaged. And even after changing all that, last mouse I tried died in like 5 minutes... (5$ "gaming" mouse I bought just to test) Funny thing only mouse that moves as it should is 3$ generic crap that works fine, but its unusable for anything cos high response time.

Im desperate, I really dont know what to do anymore! Sometimes I almost start to cry... TWO years of playing with non working mice, and Im still on begining, dont have any clue what is wrong here! Only thing that I can thing of are: underground waters, my house in indian burial ground or Im in hell and its my eternal punishment...

PLEASE HELP!
*btw, no, its not mouse acceleration, it would be simply too easy...

More information needed:

1) Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

2) List the mice: Make, specific model, connectivity (USB, wireless, PS/2)?

3) Source (where are you buying the mice)? Where and how are you getting and installing the drivers?

4) Look in Reliability History and Event Viewer for error codes, warnings, or even informational events being captured when the mice begin to "slack".

5) Use Task Manager and Resource Monitor to observe changes in system peformance when the mouse is moved. (Use both tools but only one at a time.)

Take a look at what all else is running on your computer via Task Manager, Resource Monitor, and Process Explorer.

[Note: Process Explorer (Microsoft, free) may need to be downloaded and installed.]

Key is to find some common factor that affects (affected) all six mice.

Details needed.

There is a superuser post that explains registry tweaks to modify sensitivity...giving u the feeling that u have a higher dpi..
there is 3 values u can modify sensitivity ,threshold 1 and threshold 2 .. please google it because im on my phone and cannot reach the link..

Editing the registry should be reserved as a very last resort and attempted only after a full system backup. Along with a registry backup as well.

And certainly not worth the risk to obtain only "the feeling that u have a higher dpi". Likely just masking the real problem....

Further investigation into current performance is recommended.
