mouse skipping since update

ever since i just updated razer synapse to version 1.20 my mouse has been getting a weird skipping not sure why but iv checked the sensor and there isnt a hair in there or anything that would interfere with it so not sure

both like even just sitting on my desktop it just skips when i leave it

What operating system do you have?

Go to Settings - Devices - Mouse and Touchpad and click on "Additional mouse options". Windows 10 doesn't have a raw input option, but i had the same problem and i solved it by going on "pointer settings" and clicking "Enhance pointer precision". You can also try lowering the dpi on razer synapse.

also is there meant to be a red sensor light cause atm i cant see a red light for the sensor mouse is deathadder chroma

No don't worry its not supposed to be red.
