Hi for some reason when im in games and im moving my mouse, the cursor stops working but my mouse leds stay on and keyboard and other usb devices are not suffering from any problem. I have tried multiple mice and they all work normally on other PC's. I have reinstalled drivers for the mouse and usb ports several times, even the chipset.

Please help!

Does your BIOS allow you to use a mouse. If so verify the problem does not happen in the BIOS. That rules out hardware and points the finger at your PC's software.

Boot win10 in safe mode, no network. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12376/windows-10-start-your-pc-in-safe-mode Still have the problem or is it gone ?

Often people have installed mice control programs...
Is only mouse movement affected? Or is it that you can't click either? If it's only movement, your mousepad could be too worn out or your mouse's optics could be breaking. Also have you tried other usb ports, or just one?

Hi I have tried multiple mouse pads, multiple mice and multiple USB ports and updated drivers several times and still having issues, it also freezes where the mouse doesn't click or move for about 5 seconds and then starts working again

Ok, have you updated the mouse driver from devise manager? Or from the manufacturers page? And have you tried the mice in a different computer?

Often people have installed mice control programs (e.g. from razer or logitech) that enable special capabilities. When you swapped mice you still had that program loaded, and those programs are often not well behaved especially when using other mice where the program has never been tested.

Goto installed programs and get rid of anything that looks like it could be "helping" you do the right thing with your mouse.

If you find it post which one it was.
