I have a Acer aspire E 15 touch with Windows 8.
I was updating the drivers through drivers identifier
but immediately after installing chipset, my mouse stopped working.
Can someone please help?

You should have the confidence to get the drivers for yourself from your laptop manufacturer's website instead of using third-party software to find drivers ------ that's a brilliant way to end up with the wrong drivers or even end up with a virus infection. Getting drivers direct from your laptop manufacturer means you know exactly what you are downloading --- doing it your way leaves you not knowing what's been downloaded or where from.

Uninstall any software that says it can find drivers for you.
It's not complicated to go to the website of the people who make your computer.
Agree with everyone above so far!

Anyway to fix it you need to do the following
Uninstall that crap software
Click Windows, type RECOVERY
Click on - Open System Restore
Then click on the time before you installed it, then follow instructions to restore it before the drivers were installed.

Apparently everyone else was wrong, the driver was identify by a software but it takes you to the manufacturer website for download. Acer is responsible for the problem they have a chipset driver which inactivate the mouse.
The secret is to download all other software from Acer website and installed them and turn the mouse on!
