anyone encounter a problem when downgrading/upgrading from windows 10 to 7. I'm having a touchpad driver problem finding for windows 7?

That model only has Win 10 drivers from Lenovo site, so issues are expected. If the system uses Synaptics, you can check on their support site directly.
