Hello! Thank you anyone for reading this and thank you for helping me out here. I am an owner of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 16GB with Un-rooted Android Lollipop. I have purchased a 16GB (14.5GB) SD CARD. I have a few apps that save all of their files to the Tablet\Android\ locations. Many of these files are downloaded content such as extra maps or textures. I have moved all of my apps to the SD Card using Android Application Manager in the settings. But this does NOT move these certain files. I was just wanting to know what would be the SAFEST way to go about moving these files to the SD CARD without rooting. And will that decrease performance because I don't that the SD CARD is as fast as the Device Storage. Thank you so much!

Solution
You will have to root the tablet and install an app like Link2SD (free or paid version) and use it to link the other apps' files on the SD card.
I haven't found any other working way that was stable like this one.

I hoped wasn't the case. I am planning to root my Tab as soon as Marshmallow comes out, I will also get rid of stupid TouchWiz.

You won't lose anything.
You can root it now > install Link2SD and enjoy > unroot it when marshmallow is released > install stock marshmallow > enjoy for a while > root the marshmallow 😀

How does one 'unroot' android?

Rooting means having root access to the internal storage that has system files and so.
Consider it like the Administrator account on the PC on windows.
We do that to be able to tamper the system files and get better/different performance from the android phones.
If you lose the root access, then your phone is unrooted :ange: That could be achieved by installing a stock rom and a stock kernel.

Installing a stock rom and a stock kernel would make you lose your access to the root of the filesystem.
So, that is how unrooting is done.
Do you want the exact steps of flashing a stock rom and kernel?
