Movie Maker Sound Error

Hey guys, Im a content creator, so I use movie maker quite a bit. Just recently I updated my Motherboard's BIOS, and ever since, I've been unable to use audio in movie maker. What I mean is, if I want to insert a narration, music, etc., when I play it back, its just a lot of buzzing. I recorded on audacity and tried importing to movie maker on various formats, but none of them got rid of the buzzing. Ive already reinstalled to no avail. Please help!

For whatever reason, the issue somehow resolved itself. I went into control panel and tested each speaker device, and somehow that fixed it.....
