Question Movie server will not sleep the monitor.

My movie server will not let the monitor go all the way to sleep. The screen goes blank but the power light goes from sleep to on every 10 seconds. Or after about an hour of not using it the screen will not come back until I restart the pc but the pc isn't frozen because I can get use it to watch movies from it over Lan with zero lag.
Pc home built been building pc's for 25 years.

I5-13600k
32gb corsair ddr5
Asus motherboard z790
No gpu using igpu
Sata lsi card installed.
8 hdd seagate
2 nvme samsung 990 drives
Evga 850 watt high end model
Windows 11 set to never sleep the drives and os but to sleep the monitor.

I've seen a similar issue on another system, on it, re-installing the motherboard chipset drivers resolved the issue.

All up to date. I have tried reinstalling windows also and no change. Could the lsi sata card be the problem since it's in slot 1 for pice where the gpu is normally?

I wouldn't think so. I suppose you could move to another available slot to see if that makes any difference.

It is more likely some Windows setting, rather than hardware.

Of course, you do have the option to just power down your display.

Even if i just shut the screen down if i come back 60 mins later it will not wake the screen back up. I have to push the power switch for it to do a shut down and than push it again to start up. I shouldn't have to do this.

Understood, now. Yes, that is a problem. Do you have hibernation enabled?
